Lahore, May 24, 2022 (PPI-OT):IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan has initiated measures for departmental promotion of traffic wardens and traffic inspectors. Upon which traffic wardens, traffic inspectors and patrolling officers serving in different districts expressed gratitude. According to details, the traffic wardens posted in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi thanked IG Punjab, Rao Sardar Ali Khan and expressed their determination to perform their duties with utmost diligence, determination and dutifulness.
Warden Muhammad Ismail, Faisalabad Traffic Police, said that IG Punjab’s special interest and effort in preparation of service structure and departmental promotions of traffic wardens has brightened the future of hundreds of traffic wardens and their long standing demand has been met.
Multan Traffic Police official Khurram said that with the orders of IG Punjab, 295 wardens across Punjab will be promoted to the rank of senior wardens. Senior Traffic Warden Sohail said that 70 senior traffic wardens have been promoted to the post of DSP which is commendable.
Traffic official Sajid said that he was performing duty on the same scale for 15/16 years but now I am happy with the initiative of IG Sahib. The recommendations of sending traffic personnel on deputation in motorway, PHP and other training centers and institutions is plausible as it will open more doors for promotions of traffic wardens.
Patrolling Officer Salma Abdul Ghani said that timely departmental promotion would encourage hundreds of traffic wardens and inspectors and such measures would boost the morale of the entire traffic force and they would perform their duties with utmost diligence and dedication.
Traffic warden Muazzam Farooq said that formation of service structure would benefit thousands of traffic wardens stationed in different districts of the province and traffic wardens would always remember this historic step of IG Punjab.
