Traffic Restrictions Lifted in Islamabad’s Red Zone, Deputy Prime Minister Announces


Islamabad: Traffic restrictions around Islamabad’s Serena Hotel and the Red Zone have been lifted, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced today. The decision aims to ease congestion and improve accessibility in these key areas of the capital city.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude in a post on his X handle to the people of Pakistan, especially those residing in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, for their patience and cooperation during the period of restrictions. He acknowledged the public’s role in ensuring the safety of guests and furthering peace efforts in the region.



Dar reiterated the government’s commitment to these objectives and expressed his appreciation for the public’s continued support, seeking their prayers and good wishes for ongoing efforts.
