Traffic Measures Implemented at Islamabad’s Weekly Bazaars


Islamabad: In an effort to maintain traffic flow and ensure public safety at weekly bazaars, the Islamabad Traffic Police, under the guidance of Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has rolled out a series of strategic measures. This initiative aims to alleviate congestion and bolster an orderly traffic system around these bustling marketplaces.



The traffic management plan encompasses the deployment of officers at key entry and exit points, parking areas, and other critical locations to prevent any potential disruptions. DSP Industrial Area Abdul Hafeez briefed the officers assigned to bazaar duties, emphasizing the importance of diligent execution of their responsibilities.



Chief Traffic Police Officer Captain (retd) Syed Zeeshan Haider urged citizens to utilize designated parking spaces to minimize traffic hindrances. He warned that any parking violations would be met with legal consequences, including fines.



The Islamabad Traffic Police reiterates its commitment to ensuring the safety and convenience of the public and encourages adherence to traffic regulations. Maintaining the smooth flow of traffic and safeguarding citizens’ lives and property remain top priorities for the police force in the federal capital.
