Islamabad, May 24, 2022 (PPI-OT):Koral police have arrested 03 thieves from different areas of the city and recovered one Suzuki pickup body and one rickshaw from their possession. According to the details, a Koral police team under the supervision of SHO Koral Muhammad Azeem Minhas and headed by ASI Zulfiqar Ali along with other officials arrested three thieves involved in stolen vehicles from different areas of PS Koral jurisdiction. The accused were identified as namely Asmat Ullah, Saddaqat and Muhammad Adil. Police recovered one Suzuki pickup body and a stolen rickshaw from their possession.

The accused Asmat ullah and Saddaqat were wanted in case no. 972/22 dated 11.05.22 under section 411/381A. During preliminary interrogation the accused confessed that they were robbering along with two members namely Shafique and Nisar, against whom arrest warrants were already taken by court and raiding teams were formed to arrest them. The other accused namely Muhammad Adil was wanted in case no. 1052/22 dated 22.05.22 under section 411. Cases against all the nominated accused have been registered and further investigation is underway.

IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan has appreciated this overall performance of the police teams and further ordered to intensify the crackdown. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard” he added.
