Jammu, January 11, 2023 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, thousands of people participated in the Urs of Hazrat Sayed Rasool Shah (RA) popularly known as Nanga Baji Sahib at village Bravhi, Kalakote, in Rajouri district of Jammu region. On the concluding day of five-day annual Urs on Tuesday, recitation of the Holy Quran, prayers and Naat were held. On this occasion special prayers were held for the early liberation of Jammu and Kashmir from the Indian illegal occupation.
During the Urs free langer (community kitchen) was organized for the devotees. Syed Muzaffer Hussain Shah Alias Baji Sahab, the grandson of Nanga Baji Sahib, commands a large number of followers and has been organizing the annual Urs for last several years. The late Sufi Saint Hazrat Nanga Baji Sahib was a pious and spiritual personality who originally hailed from village Malangam of Bandipora district in the Kashmir Valley.
