Thousands of Afghan Nationals Return to Homeland Through Pakistan Borders

Pakistan, The repatriation of illegal foreign nationals, including Afghan citizens, to their home country is ongoing, with thousands of Afghans returning to Afghanistan daily through the Chaman and Torkham borders. The returnees have expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its support and hospitality during their stay.

According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Pakistan has taken various measures to ensure a dignified return of Afghan nationals. This includes the establishment of transit camps equipped with all necessary facilities in various districts for their temporary accommodation. Yesterday, 2,959 illegal Afghan nationals, comprising 1,092 men, 668 women, and 1,199 children, were repatriated. To date, a total of 235,821 Afghans have been successfully repatriated to Afghanistan.
