Lahore, March 30, 2023 (PPI-OT): Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, while taking notice of the stampede incident at the Free Flour Center in Sahiwal, has expressed deep sorrow and regret over the death of a woman. Mohsin Naqvi has ordered the DIG Special Branch to investigate the tragic incident and said that the facts should be brought out through investigation and those responsible for the negligence should be determined.
Wherever negligence is found, action will be taken without discrimination. He directed that the best treatment facilities should be provided to the injured in the incident. Mohsen Naqvi said that every human life is precious. Arrangements should be made at the centers so that there is no harassment and citizens can get flour in queues.
Arrangements should be made fool proof at all centers and steps should be taken to prevent such incidents in future. Commissioners, RPOs, Deputy Commissioners and DPOs should review the arrangements of the centers in their cities.
