Islamabad, July 14, 2023 (PPI-OT): 1. The Special Committee expressed strong displeasure over the absence of Senior Officers of M/o Interior despite the fact clear message was sent to them to ensure their presence in the meeting. The Committee took serious notice over the lenient attitude of the Senior Officers towards affairs of the Special Committee and directed that their presence might be ensured in the next meeting to be held on Monday i.e. 17th July, 2023 failing which the Committee would initiate strict action against them under relevant rules.

2. The Special Committee directed that M/o Interior may expedite the process of issuance of Arms Licenses forwarded by the Parliamentarians. Moreover, M/o Interior may avoid scrutinizing the list of the Parliamentarians approved by the Federal Minister for Interior and report back to the Committee in the next meeting.

3. The meeting was attended by Mr. Khalid Hussain Magsi, Mr. Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhary, Sardar Riaz Mehmood Khan Mazari, MNAs.
