Karachi, Governor of Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori emphasized the crucial role of welfare organizations in societal development and Pakistan’s potential for self-reliance, during his address at the Honorary Corporate Conference of JDC held at the Governor’s House.
According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori highlighted the importance of welfare institutions in the development of the country and the nation. He stated that the resources of Pakistan are sufficient to support three generations, signifying the country’s latent potential. Governor Tesori expressed concern about the challenges facing industries in Pakistan, particularly the lack of gas supply, which is a crucial resource for economic growth.
The Governor’s remarks also touched on the need for collective action and unity to strengthen the nation’s economy. He pointed out that economic strength is key to national honor and urged the nation to work together for this cause. Governor Tesori also emphasized the responsibility that comes with authority, hinting at a moral obligation to use power for the benefit of the people.
In his address, Tesori praised the efforts of numerous institutions and individuals in Pakistan dedicated to serving humanity, singling out JDC for its exemplary service. He underscored the idea that serving humanity is a fundamental teaching of their religion, reinforcing the cultural and religious significance of such efforts.
In a gesture of support for these initiatives, Governor Sindh announced a donation of 5 million rupees to JDC. This contribution is seen as a testament to the government’s commitment to supporting welfare organizations and their role in the nation’s development.
