Lahore, August 16, 2022 (PPI-OT): Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that the participation of the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in the passing out parade of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst as a chief guest is a great honour for Pakistan and the nation. CM in a statement said that no other chief of army staff of any country has been invited as a chief guest in the passing out parade of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
He stated that the Chief of Army Staff invitation as a chief guest in the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst is in fact recognition of his reforms being taken relating to the army and eradicating terrorism from the country. Pervaiz Elahi lauded that Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s abilities were not only acknowledged at the international level but he has also become a symbol and an identity of peace.
Cadets of 26 countries participated in the passing out parade in which the participation of Pakistani cadets is a matter of pride for the nation and has also strengthened the relations between Pakistan and Great Britain, CM concluded.
