The management of the Federal Development Agency has decided to shift all water installations in the city to modern solar systems

Islamabad, June 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):The management of the Federal Development Agency (FDA) has decided to shift all water installations in the city to modern solar systems. In this regard, PCW of Rs. 30 million has been approved by the Water Supply Department in the CDADWP meeting and the process of hiring a consultant is being started.

According to the details, initially various phases of water works including Poona Faqiran, Sangjani, and RL One are being shifted to modern solar system. Similarly, in the next phase, all the tube wells will also be transferred to the modern solar system. It should be noted that these measures will not only save energy but will also significantly reduce costs.

This is a very important step in increasing energy savings in line with the vision of the Chairman Capital Development Authority and the federal government. This will not only save crores of rupees but will also help in overcoming the energy crisis.

In addition, the process of replacing the modern pumps at the waterworks at a cost of Rs. 10 crore has been started while the process of installation of modern pumps at four waterworks has been completed.
