Islamabad, December 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):Deputy Speaker National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani to Chairman National Database and Registration. Authority (NADRA) Tariq Malik held a meeting at the Parliament House on Wednesday. In the meeting, the performance of NADRA, problems faced in connection with the issuance and registration of identity cards to the people in the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
Appreciating the performance of NADRA, Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani said that NADRA is an important national organization and is providing the best facilities to the public in the issue and registration of identity cards. He directed to solve the problems faced with regard to issuance and registration. He said that due to the absence of NADRA center in Maryan Tehsil, the people of this Tehsil face great difficulties in obtaining and registering ID cards. Directed the early establishment of NADRA Center in Tehsil Marian Bannu.
Chairman NADRA Tariq Malik thanked the Deputy Speaker for his words of praise for NADRA. He informed the Deputy Speaker about the details regarding the establishment of NADRA Center in Tehsil Maryan and said that the establishment of NADRA Center in Maryan has been approved and the building has also been hired for this purpose. He assured the Deputy Speaker to establish NADRA Registration Center in Tehsil Maryan very soon. He also assured to solve the problems on priority basis.
