The 49th Specialized Training Program of the Inland Revenue Service of Federal Board of Revenue Pakistan concluded with a grand passing-out ceremony in Lahore on Wednesday

Islamabad, March 16, 2023 (PPI-OT):The 49th Specialized Training Program (STP) of the Inland Revenue Service (IRS) of Federal Board of Revenue Pakistan concluded with a grand passing-out ceremony in Lahore on Wednesday. The event was held at the IRS Academy in Lahore which was attended by Chairman FBR Mr. Asim Ahmad and other distinguished guests including senior officers of the Board. The Governor Punjab Mr. Muhammad Baligh-Ur-Rahman was Chief Guest on the occasion.

The STP is a rigorous training program designed to equip CSS officers of the IRS with the skills and knowledge necessary to carry out their duties effectively. The 49th batch of the STP consisted of 39 officers, who underwent an intensive yearlong training program covering various aspects of tax administration.

During the ceremony, the Governor Punjab and Chairman FBR praised the dedication and commitment of the officers during the program. They stressed that hard work and determination would contribute to the development of the country. They also emphasized the importance of tax collection and compliance, and commended the IRS for its efforts in effectively implementing the tax laws. The graduating officers were presented with certificates and awards for their outstanding performance during the program.

The Chairman FBR thanked the Chief Guest for attending the ceremony and congratulated the graduating officers for successfully completing the STP. He also emphasized the importance of continuous learning and development and encouraged the officers to use their newly acquired skills to improve tax administration in Pakistan.

The passing-out ceremony of the 49th STP of the Inland Revenue Service was a resounding success and marked the beginning of a new chapter for the graduating officers. They will now join the ranks of the Assistant Commissioner IRS in field offices, contributing their skills and knowledge to the development of the country and ensuring compliance of tax laws.
