Terror Attack in Besham Claims Lives of Five Chinese and One Pakistani National


Islamabad, A tragic terror attack near Besham in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has resulted in the loss of five Chinese and one Pakistani national today, sparking a strong condemnation from the Pakistani government. This incident has underscored the ongoing security challenges facing foreign nationals and projects in the region.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Foreign Office has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of Chinese nationals, projects, and institutions within the country. The statement from the Foreign Office emphasized Pakistan’s resolve to combat terrorism, promising to take all necessary actions to apprehend the terrorists and their facilitators responsible for this heinous act.



The attack has been described as an attempt to undermine the strong and historical friendship between Pakistan and China. The Foreign Office stressed that such cowardly acts cannot shake the determination of the Pakistani nation to fight against terrorism. It also highlighted the solidarity between the people and the government of Pakistan with their Chinese counterparts, extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of the Chinese nationals.



Labeling Pakistan and China as close friends and iron brothers, the Foreign Office declared that the safety of Chinese nationals in Pakistan is of utmost importance.
