Islamabad, 16 Oct 2023: On the 10th consecutive day, Israeli forces persisted with air strikes on Gaza, leading to increasing concerns amid mounting international efforts for a ceasefire. The recent overnight strikes have been notably severe, causing significant infrastructural damage and leaving many trapped under debris.
While the devastation continues, diplomatic channels are vigorously working to ensure the delivery of aid to the affected Palestinian region, which has been under constant bombardment since the 7th of the month. Contrary to these peace endeavours, Israel’s Chief Military spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, confirmed the continuation of military operations in Gaza, negating any ceasefire claims.
