Islamabad, February 21, 2023 (PPI-OT):Telephonic communication between the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte (Mark Rutte). Today, there was a telephonic communication between the Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte.
The Prime Minister appreciated the cooperation of the Dutch water experts in preparing the relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction framework of the Government of the Netherlands for the flood victims in Pakistan. The two leaders also reviewed the bilateral relations and expressed their satisfaction in this regard. They agreed to further enhance trade and economic relations.
The Prime Minister invited Dutch companies to invest in agriculture, horticulture, water management and renewable energy sectors. The two leaders also discussed important global and regional issues of mutual interest, including the IIOJK, the situation in Afghanistan and Ukraine.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the international community should raise a collective voice against Islamophobia and work together to promote inter-faith harmony and peaceful coexistence. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and the Netherlands. Both the Prime Ministers agreed to celebrate this milestone in a grand manner.
