Srinagar, September 10, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the mother of illegally detained Tehreek-e-Hurriyet leader, Raja Merajuddin Kalwal, passed away in Srinagar, today. She was ill for the past some time and breathed her in Srinagar, this morning. Raja Merajuddin Kalwal is facing illegal detention in Indian infamous Tihar jail for more than four years.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat leaders, including Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Ghulam Nabi Waseem, Yasmeen Raja, Zamruda Habib, Abdul Ahad Parra, Syed Aijaz Rehmani and Zahid Ashraf in their separate statements have expressed deep grief over the sad demise of the mother of detained leader and urged the Indian government to release all illegally detained political detainees languishing in different jails.
On the other hand, the mother and sister of illegally detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, are suffering from COVID 19 in Srinagar. The party appealed people to pray for their speedy recovery. The mother and sister of Yasin Malik are in serious condition at Kashmir Nursing Home in Sonwar area of Srinagar.
Human rights activist, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo visited the hospital and expressed serious concern over the conditions of Yasin Malik’s family when the only son of the family has been facing illegal detention in Tihar jail. He urged the Indian government to release Muhammad Yasin Malik and other detainees.
