Islamabad: In a recent meeting held in Islamabad, Rana Tanveer Hussain, the Minister for National Food Security and Research, commended the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) for its role in enhancing inter-institutional coordination, particularly in the agriculture sector. The discussion centered on strengthening cooperation between the Ministry and SIFC to tackle the challenges facing agriculture.

During the meeting, Major General Asad ur Rehman Cheema, the Director General of SIFC, and Minister Hussain engaged in an in-depth dialogue about various initiatives designed to aid farmers and boost the sector’s productivity.
