Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani Inaugurates SCO Business and Investment Conference in Islamabad


Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani delivered the inaugural address at the “SCO Business and Investment Conference” held recently in the city. The event, aimed at fostering economic cooperation and investment opportunities among SCO member countries, was marked by discussions on enhancing regional partnerships and economic growth.



According to Senate of Pakistan, Gilani highlighted the importance of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) as a pivotal platform for economic and strategic collaboration in the Eurasian region. He emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to leveraging SCO mechanisms to promote regional connectivity, trade liberalization, and investment-friendly environments across member states.
