Islamabad: Chairman of the Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, met with Lt. Gen (R) Sajjad Ghani, Chairman of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), at Parliament House today to deliberate on ongoing and future infrastructure projects critical to Pakistan’s development.
According to Senate of Pakistan, the meeting focused on enhancing collaboration between the Senate and WAPDA to expedite water and power projects that are essential for the country’s economic growth and sustainability. The discussions also aimed to address the challenges facing Pakistan’s infrastructure sector, particularly in water resource management and power generation.
