ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police have arrested two individuals suspected of involvement in house thefts as part of an ongoing operation against criminal activity in the capital. The arrests were made following directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi to intensify efforts against such crimes.
In a recent operation, the Phulgran police apprehended the suspects, Khurram and Faisal. Authorities recovered stolen items, including gold ornaments and a wristwatch valued at 8.7 million rupees. During questioning, the suspects reportedly admitted to their involvement in house thefts.
SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized the police’s commitment to safeguarding the community’s property and promised stringent measures against those involved in theft. He encouraged residents to report any suspicious activities to their local police station or via the emergency helpline, “Pucar-15.”
