Karachi: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has extended his congratulations to Rauf Ata on his recent election as President of the Supreme Court Bar Association. The Mayor expressed optimism that under Ata’s leadership, the Bar Association will contribute to upholding the rule of law in the country.

Mayor Wahab highlighted the vision of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who advocates for the promotion of democracy across all institutions and the fulfillment of duties by elected representatives. The Mayor also noted that the recent passing of the 26th constitutional amendment, attributed to Bhutto Zardari’s efforts, underscores the aim to achieve balance among institutions and to enforce the constitution and rule of law in Pakistan.
