Islamabad, February 03, 2022 (PPI-OT):Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri said that Youth is the most important demographic asset in the country as they constitute more than Sixty percent of our population. He said that up skilling youth with latest technologies would make them contributor in the Socio-Economic development of the country. He said that Pakistan is blessed with more than Sixty percent of Youth and this youth has their main goal to lead Pakistan on the path of glory and progress.
He said that Single National Curriculum would pave way for developing uniform ideologies in their minds. He expressed these views while addressing the delegation of different universities under project of “National Exposure Visit of Young Peace Activists” who visited Parliament House today in collaboration with Young Parliamentarian Forum (YPF).
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri said that discipline and hard work would be vital factors for achieving goals in life. He said that Imran Khan Prime Minister of Pakistan has vision of progress and Development and has a vision to transform dream of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Quaid-e- Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was to make youth more powerful and independent. He said that this country was established on a vision and this has its foundation in Islam.
He said that Islam is a religion of peace and Justice. He said that Islam was preached through peace and discipline. He said that incumbent government has revived the economy and the peace in this country attract more. He said that the incumbent government policy of tackling COVID-19 is being praised across the country.
He said that Ehsas program during peak COVID-19 was a success story as more than one crore families were given financial support. He said that our women are more independent and more autonomous now and the incumbent Parliament is cognizant of its responsibility. He also said that in this age of Fifth generation warfare it is youth who can make difference.
He said that fifth generation warfare is being perpetrated by Indians. While talking about Pakistan stance of establishment of peace and prosperous Afghanistan as its neighbour, he said that the incumbent government has clear vision of establishment of peace.
Chairman National Assembly Standing Committee on Law and Justice Member National Assembly Mr. Riaz Fatiana also addressed the Participants about importance of achieving Sustainable Development Goals and about diverse forms of violence. He also said that strong institutions would ensure peace Justice and rule of law in the society.
He said that peace is vital for mental and Physical growth of all humans. He also said that Youth have proactive role to play for establishing peace in the country. Earlier Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Additional Secretary Legislation also briefed the participants about basics of the 1973 Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and about basics of Parliamentary norms of the society. Later on Questions and Answers session was also held.
