Suno FM Hosts All Pakistan Speech Competition, Celebrates Young Orators

Islamabad, The Suno FM Radio Network recently concluded its all Pakistan speech competition titled “23rd March 1940 and Today’s Pakistan” at the Army Public School DHA Campus, Islamabad, commemorating the historical significance of Pakistan’s foundation day and reflecting on the country’s progress. The competition, attracting young talent from across the nation, highlighted the importance of eloquence and knowledge among Pakistan’s youth. Esteemed writer and poet Iftikhar Arif graced the event as the chief guest, alongside attendees from various sectors, students, and the families of the speakers.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the event saw a vibrant display of oratory skills as participants, selected from a nationwide pool, captivated the audience with their speeches, drawing significant applause. Haider Abbas from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province clinched the first position, followed by Muhammad Abdullah Nawaz of Lahore in second place, and Meshaal Abrar Abbasi of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in third. The winners were awarded cash prizes of five hundred thousand rupees, three hundred thousand rupees, and two hundred thousand rupees respectively, in recognition of their exceptional skills and contributions to the competition.

The ceremony also featured a poetic performance by Iftikhar Arif, offering an enriching experience to those in attendance. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes and a group photograph, marking the end of a successful celebration of Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and the potential of its youth. This competition underscores the ongoing efforts to engage and empower the younger generation, fostering a sense of patriotism and public speaking prowess among them.
