Islamabad, March 25, 2022 (PPI-OT):Minister for Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin says the sugar production is likely to increase by two million tons from last year to 7.5 million tons. In a tweet, he said, as a result, Pakistan is back to sugar surplus country from deficit. The Minister said ex-mill sugar prices are now around 81 rupees per kilogram substantially lower from last year.
