Kolkata, January 21, 2023 (PPI-OT):Anita Bose, the daughter of the late leader of the freedom movement in India, late Subhas Chandra Bose, opposing the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), said that her father was against the ideology of the RSS and he respected all religions. The RSS is preparing to celebrate Subhash Chandra Bose’s birthday on January 23 in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, in which the main speaker will be RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Subhash Chandra Bose is a resident of Kolkata. Anita Bose opposed the entire programme, saying that her father respected all religions and believed that all could live together. She said, “I don’t think RSS believes in this”. She said if RSS starts adopting the ideology of Subhas Chandra Bose, it will be good for India. She said Subhas Chandra Bose believed in secularism and she does not sure RSS stands by it. She said that if RSS wants to propagate Hindu nationalist ideas, it does not match Bose’s ideology.
