Islamabad, September 01, 2023 (PPI-OT): On the 2nd martyrdom anniversary of the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani, a large number of students visited the ‘Syed Ali Gilani Corner’ established in the National Monument in Islamabad and paid their respects to him. Students from various schools, colleges and universities on this occasion were briefed on the life of the veteran leader and his valuable services in the Kashmir freedom movement.

Leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Imtiaz Wani, Advocate Parvez Ahmed and Gulshan Ahmed, told the students that Syed Ali Gilani had great devotion and love for Pakistan and he was a staunch advocate of Jammu and Kashmir’s accession to Pakistan.

They said that the slogan coined by Syed Ali Gilani ‘We are Pakistanis and Pakistan is ours’ has become the voice of every Kashmiri now. They urged the students to highlight the Kashmir freedom movement and the Indian atrocities on innocent people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. On this occasion, the students raised slogans in favour of Kashmir freedom from India and against the Indian state terrorism in the occupied territory.
