Students’ Role in Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos Hailed by DG ISPR


Karachi: Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, emphasized the pivotal role played by Pakistani students in countering Indian strategic assumptions during “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos.” Speaking at Jinnah University for Women, Karachi, he highlighted the collective effort of the people of Pakistan, with a special mention of the students, in what he described as a historic victory.



Upon his arrival at the university, Lieutenant General Chaudhry received a warm welcome from both the administration and the students. During the briefing, he detailed the strategic measures and sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army to thwart adversarial plans in the operation.



Touching on the situation in Balochistan, Chaudhry stressed the cultural and traditional bonds that link the region with Pakistan, dismissing threats from the so-called Fitna-al-Hindustan. He affirmed that these elements pose no threat to the enduring ties between Balochistan and the rest of the country.



Regarding Kashmir, the Lieutenant General reiterated its strategic importance to Pakistan, describing it as the nation’s jugular vein without reservation.



The university administration and students expressed deep appreciation for the Pakistan Army’s efforts, acknowledging the military’s role in securing victory. The female students articulated a strong connection between the people and the army, underscoring a bond they say will remain unbroken.



The session concluded with students expressing enthusiasm and eagerness to host similar events in the future, reinforcing the solidarity between educational institutions and the military.
