Walsall, August 19, 2023 (PPI-OT):President of think-tank Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD), Sardar Muhammad Tahir Tabsssum, has said that only a strong and stable Pakistan can guarantee the freedom of Kashmir and peace in South Asia.
Sardar Muhammad Tahir Tabsssum addressing a reception in his honor at the Metropolitan Council of Walsall, UK, said, if there is no peaceful resolution of Kashmir, the clouds of dangerous war between the two nuclear countries Pakistan and India will continue to hover. He said, it is very important to give the people of Kashmir the right to self-determination for world peace and development.
Sardar Tahir Tabsssum said the Kashmiris have been standing with full force for seventy-six years in the face of Indian oppression and did not make any compromises even in difficult times. “Sacrifices have to be made in freedom movements, but Kashmiri people have never shown weakness and are fighting with full force and courage which is admirable and we salute Hurriyat leadership and Kashmiri people,” he said.
He said that there are economic problems in Pakistan, but there is no need to worry, the situation will improve soon. He further said the Pakistani and Kashmiri Councilors elected across the UK should serve the community as well as play a role for strengthening Pakistan-UK relations and for the freedom of Kashmir.
The event was organized by Leader of Labour Group Councilor Arif Nawaz and Deputy Leader of Labour Group Councilor Khizar Hussain Qadri. Kashmiri leader Abdul Khaliq Qadri Patron in chief Rajput Welfare Trust, Chaudhry Amjad Hussain Advocate Chairman Union Council Dohra Bhambar, Raja Shaukat Ali, Efrahim Tabassum, Murtaza Mazhar Qadri, prominent journalist Irfan Ahmed Faraz and others attended it.
The event was also addressed among others by Arif Nawaz, Khizr Hussain Qadri, Abdul Khaliq Qadri, and Chaudhry Amjad Hussain Advocate. Sardar Tahir Tabassum was briefed about Walsall Council and he visited its various sections.
