Srinagar, May 05, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, strike was observed, today, to mourn the custodial killing of senior APHC leader and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai in Jammu’s Udhampur jail on his first martyrdom anniversary. Prayers sessions were held by Hurriyat leaders in Srinagar and other areas of the valley despite military and police siege and harassment.
Shops were closed in several areas of Srinagar and other towns of the valley despite harassment and dictations of Indian forces to the business community. The All Parties Hurriyat Conference in a statement issued in Srinagar, paying rich tributes to Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, described him as the pioneer of Kashmir freedom movement.
