Storm in Bannu Results in Injuries and Extensive Property Damage

Bannu: A severe storm on July 10 in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has led to multiple injuries and significant damage to properties, including the destruction of several boundary walls and residential rooms.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority, the storm resulted in injuries to three residents, including a 10-year-old girl and a 65-year-old man. The injured individuals are Muhammad Saad, Hadeeja, and Hassan Ali, all residents of different localities within Bannu. The district also witnessed substantial damage to residential structures. Affected residents include Asad Ullah, Suhail Khan, Mati Ullah, Shafi Ullah, Riaz Khan, and Allah Nawaz, who reported damages primarily to boundary walls and some residential rooms.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner (R and HR) Office in Bannu is overseeing the response to the crisis, coordinating relief efforts, and assessing further needs to aid the affected families. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority continues to monitor the situation and provide updates as more assessments are conducted.
