State to Enforce Law Against Anti-State Violence, Says Defence Minister

Islamabad: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif stated that the state will utilize its full authority to enforce the law against any attempts to impose an anti-state agenda through violence. According to Radio Pakistan, Asif emphasized that the state is committed to ensuring that the people of Kashmir can freely express their views.

In a post on X, the Defence Minister highlighted the importance of addressing contentious issues through democratic means, particularly as elections approach. He criticized those who resort to violence and bloodshed to impose their ideology, indicating that their motives extend beyond democratic objectives. Asif also condemned the manner in which police and security personnel have been martyred, noting that such actions demonstrate an unwillingness to engage with public opinion through electoral processes.
