Islamabad, October 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):29th meeting of the Standing Committee on Railways was held today under the Chairmanship of Mr. Muhammad Mueen Wattoo, MNA in the Committee Room of Ministry of Railways, Pak-Secretariat, and Islamabad.

2. The Committee expressed its sorrow over the losses caused by recent floods, and extended solidarity with flood affectees and prayed for their speedy recovery.

3. Secretary, Railways briefed the Committee about financial losses of Railways due to floods and gave suggestions to avoid such losses in future.

4. The Committee also discussed the issues related to pays and pensions, allowances of Railways Police and its employees.

5. The Committee emphasize to get evacuate Railways Land from land mafia.

6. The meeting was attended by Mr. Ali Pervaiz, Mr. Ramesh Lal, Ch. Muhammad Hamid Hameed, Pir Syed Fazal Ali Shah Jillani, MNAs and the senior officers from the Ministry of Railways.
