Islamabad: SSP Operations Islamabad, Muhammad Shoaib Khan, visited the bustling Sangjani Cattle Market, underscoring enhanced security measures to protect traders and buyers. He assessed the efforts of police officers on duty and reiterated the commitment of the Islamabad Police to ensure safety in the market.

Khan emphasized that cattle markets will strictly operate within designated areas, with legal actions to be taken against any unauthorized markets or sales points. Security at the market is bolstered by patrolling units, including the Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit, aimed at curbing criminal activities such as fraud and pickpocketing.

The visit and measures are part of a broader strategy to uphold law and order in the federal capital, assuring citizens of the protection of their lives and property. Khan also urged the public to actively cooperate with law enforcement and report any suspicious activities or objects to the police or through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15.”
