SSP Operations Islamabad Vows Zero Tolerance for Corruption, Prioritizes Citizen Service

Islamabad: In a significant move to reinforce integrity and public service within law enforcement, SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, has declared a zero-tolerance policy against corruption, emphasizing no leniency for criminal activities.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the announcement was made during a pivotal meeting chaired by Mr. Raza at Police Lines Headquarters, attended by SP City Dr. Ayaz Hussain, SHOs, and muharrars from various police stations. The meeting comprehensively reviewed the city’s law and order situation, crime prevention strategies, and the provision of police services to citizens.

Mr. Raza underscored the importance of treating citizens with dignity and resolving their issues promptly. He directed officers to listen attentively to complaints and assured that police personnel’s welfare would be prioritized. He emphasized the crucial role of police in maintaining peace and insisted on vigorous action against criminal elements, advocating for transparency in crime control.

The SSP Operations articulated a firm stance against corruption, promising strict departmental action against any proven cases. He also pledged to recognize and commend officers for outstanding performance, urging them to enhance professional conduct and reinforce public trust.

The meeting concluded with directives for officers to dedicate three hours daily to address citizens’ complaints, ensuring effective resolution and demonstrating the department’s commitment to service and integrity.
