ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, recently attended an Iftar gathering with police officers stationed at the Zero Point checkpoint. The event was attended by various police officials, highlighting the law enforcement’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and security.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized the active role of the police in maintaining public safety during the holy month of Ramadan, particularly during Sehri and Iftar. He detailed the implementation of stringent security measures throughout the city, including enhanced security at shopping centers, major commercial hubs, and markets.
The SSP also outlined the introduction of mobile patrolling, foot patrolling, and an organized checking system to eliminate security loopholes. He noted that these efforts have contributed to a noticeable decrease in crime rates, and the crackdown on criminal activities will be further intensified to deter unlawful behavior, providing maximum relief to citizens.
Additionally, SSP Raza reiterated the commitment to community policing, stressing that public concerns will be addressed as a priority to foster a collaborative relationship between the police and the community.
