ISLAMABAD: SSP Operations Islamabad, Muhammad Shoaib Khan, has directed law enforcement officers to intensify their efforts against criminal activities in the region. In a recent meeting with officials from the Soan zone, Khan emphasized the need for strict monitoring of proclaimed offenders, enhancing patrolling effectiveness, and ensuring the recovery of stolen goods in theft and vehicle lifting cases.

The meeting, attended by Soan zone SDPOs and SHOs, focused on utilizing all available resources to eliminate criminal elements. Khan urged a comprehensive crackdown on individuals involved in serious offenses, including land grabbing, drug dealing, and possession of illegal weapons.

Khan underscored the importance of taking strict legal action against those involved in serious crimes and ensuring they are brought to justice. He stressed the need for the prompt arrest of wanted criminals, with investigations to be conducted transparently and on merit.

He instructed SHOs to resolve citizens’ complaints promptly at the police station level, emphasizing that issues of corruption, misconduct, or abuse of power would not be tolerated. The protection of citizens’ lives and property remains a top priority, with no room for negligence.

SSP Operations highlighted the importance of prosecuting arrested criminals based on solid evidence to ensure appropriate legal punishment. Officers were reminded to maintain discipline and uphold their primary responsibility of safeguarding the community.
