ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Police, under directives from Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has enhanced security measures at churches in the federal capital. These efforts aim to ensure comprehensive protection for religious sites across the district.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Qazi Ali Raza personally inspected various churches in Islamabad to evaluate the effectiveness of the security protocols in place. His visits included reviewing the deployment at entry and exit points, parking areas, and the overall security plan, while also engaging with officers and officials on duty to discuss improvements.

SSP Operations Raza emphasized to church administrations that the Islamabad Police is committed to protecting the lives and properties of citizens of all faiths. He urged public cooperation and vigilance, encouraging immediate reporting of any suspicious activities to the police via the Pucar-15 helpline. Raza highlighted the importance of police-public cooperation for maintaining peace and security.
