Islamabad: SSP Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan convened a crime meeting to evaluate the district’s crime situation and provide directives for enhanced policing. The meeting, held at his office, brought together all zonal SPs and SDPOs to discuss strategies for maintaining public safety.
During the session, SSP Operations stressed the importance of concluding pending investigations with integrity and forwarding the necessary legal documents to the courts. He highlighted the urgency of apprehending members of criminal gangs who are evading capture and compiling data on individuals released in property crime cases.
SSP Khan also instructed officers to closely monitor those previously released and ensure their immediate arrest if they engage in new criminal activities. Particular emphasis was placed on capturing individuals involved in motor-vehicle theft and those declared as proclaimed offenders.
The SSP reiterated the police department’s commitment to prioritizing public safety, warning that any negligence in this duty would be unacceptable.
