Islamabad, July 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) (Operations) Islamabad, Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer has asked the concerned officials to keep a vigilant eye on the anti-social elements, especially during the upcoming Eid days. He was presiding over a meeting which was called to review crime and formulate a subsequent strategy to check activities of the anti-social elements, especially during the Eid days. The SSP said that the police would was doing its best to control crime in the city, especially during the upcoming Eid days. He said those responsible for unrest in society deserve no leniency. He asked the concerned officials to nab the criminals, especially the absconders. Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanveer directed the concerned to comply with the orders of IGP Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman regarding the vehicles parked in the police stations. He also asked the officials to observe the SOPs on helpline 1715 and added that no leniency in this regard would be tolerated. He told the participants of the meeting to ensure checking of the pillion riders and suspicious bike-riders. He said that motorbikes without number plates must be shifted to police stations.
