SSP Operations Commands Crackdown on Criminal Gangs

Islamabad: In a concerted effort to curb crime, SSP Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan convened a critical meeting with City zone officers, outlining a strategic directive to apprehend and monitor gang members and other criminals.

During the meeting, SSP Khan instructed officers to expedite the arrest of missing gang members and to gather data on individuals recently released in property-related cases. He emphasized the need for vigilance over those released, mandating immediate re-arrest should they re-offend.

SSP Khan also directed the officers to focus on apprehending individuals involved in car and motorcycle thefts, as well as absconders and proclaimed offenders. He stressed the importance of effective case investigations and timely prosecutions to secure convictions.

He underscored the police’s commitment to safeguarding citizens’ lives and properties, warning that any negligence in these duties would not be tolerated. Officers were also tasked with producing regular performance reports to evaluate investigative progress.
