Islamabad, July 25, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Special Committee on Arms Licenses met today at 01.00 p.m. in Parliament House, Islamabad under the Chairmanship of Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, MNA to discuss the problems faced by the citizens in obtaining the Arms Licenses.

The Special Committee expressed satisfaction over the assurance given by the M/o Interior to clear the back log of all pending cases of Arms Licenses at the earliest. The Special Committee also appreciated the decision of M/o Interior for deputing a Focal Person in Parliament House to provide fast track delivery to the Parliamentarians and to address their grievances on priority basis.

The Special Committee also directed that M/o Interior may expedite the process to transfer the Arms Weapons to inherits and report back to the Special Committee in its next meeting. The Special Committee decided to convene its next meeting during the next week.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Khalid Hussain Magsi, Mr. Mohsin Dawar, Mr. Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhary, Sardar Riaz Mehmood Khan Mazari, MNAs.
