Islamabad, October 06, 2022 (PPI-OT):Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Shaza Fatima Khawaja held a press conference in Islamabad. SAPM on Youth Affairs said that Pakistan’s Street Child Football Team will be representing the country at Street Child Football World Cup being held in Qatar. SAPM appreciated the Muslim Hands organisation and thanked them for selecting, training, and providing world-class training facilities to Pakistan’s Street Child Football Team.

SAPM Said that Muslim Hands Pakistan’s services for underprivileged children in Pakistan are commendable. Pakistan Street Child Football Team is an example of the excellent work of Muslim Hands. The players of the street child football team have been selected after trials from the football academies established by Muslim Hands in 17 cities of the country.

Shaza Fatima stated that currently there are millions of underprivileged children in Pakistan, and it’s our social responsibility to work for their betterment and try to provide them with all possible facilities. In this regard, the success of the Street Child team is a very positive mark, because the team consists of children who belong to disadvantaged families including orphans, street children, and vulnerable sections.

Muslim Hands Organisation has established 17 football academies all across Pakistan. SAPM said that Prime Minister’s Youth Programme will support Muslim Hands to increase the number of academies in the country. Prime Minister’s Youth Programme is also empowering young sports enthusiasts through Talent Hunt Youth Sports League. Said SAPM. Shaza Fatima conveyed her best wishes to Pakistan Street Child Football Team and said that keeping their track record in view, Pakistan Child Football Team is a strong contender to become World Champions.
