Speakers urge UN to take cognizance of growing Indian state terrorism in IIOJK

Rawalpindi, July 30, 2023 (PPI-OT): Speakers at a seminar organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Commission in Rawalpindi have appealed to the international community to take cognizance of the growing Indian state terrorism in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The speakers at the seminar titled “Role of Overseas Kashmiris in Kashmir Freedom Movement” also called upon the World Body to play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute to lay a foundation for sustainable peace and stability in South Asia. The event was organized at Kashmir Center Rawalpindi.

Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK President Faheem Kayani, APHC-AJK Convenor Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, Altaf Ahmad Butt, Altaf Wani, Sarwar Hussain Gilgiti, Raja Khan Afsar Khan, Najeeb ul Gafoor Khan, Raja Bashir Usmani, Raja Rashid Raza and others addressed the event. Raja Faheem Kayani said that our first priority is the freedom movement of Kashmir and we cannot ignore the Kashmir cause even for a moment. He said India is running a negative campaign against the freedom movement to mislead the world. We have to defeat these nefarious tactics of India.

Raja Faheem Kayani said there is a need to strengthen the ties between the overseas Kashmiris and the base camp government. Mahmood Ahmad Saghar said that the Kashmiri people are struggling for their birthright, the right to self-determination and their many sacrifices will not go in vain. Altaf Butt said that we want to encourage those working for Kashmir cause. Altaf Hussain Wani said that the youth should highlight Indian atrocities on Kashmiris through social media and spread the slogan of freedom with hashtags all over the world.
