Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly Commends Russia’s Engagement with Muslim Nations

Islamabad: The Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, praised Russia’s expanding ties with the Muslim world during a meeting with Damir Mukhetdinov, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Muftis, at the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. Sadiq underscored the positive developments in Pakistan-Russia relations and acknowledged Russia’s approach to addressing Islamophobia, along with President Vladimir Putin’s remarks on respecting sacred religious figures.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Sadiq commended Russia for fostering inter-faith harmony and peaceful coexistence among various religious communities. In discussions about the Palestinian situation, both parties conveyed their support for the Palestinian people. They also agreed to further collaborate in the religious and cultural domains.
