Speaker National Assembly Inaugurates Road, Affirms PPP’s Commitment to Public Welfare in Gujar Khan

Gujar Khan, Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf inaugurated the Changa Bangyal Road in Gujar Khan, underscoring the Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) dedication to public service and parliamentary politics.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, during the public gathering on Tuesday, Speaker Ashraf emphasized the PPP’s longstanding commitment to grassroots politics and addressing the needs of the people. He highlighted the party’s focus on employment and local problem-solving, stating that the PPP has consistently obtained power through the support of the populace.

Ashraf remarked on the historical attempts to distance the PPP from its supporters, asserting that such efforts have been unsuccessful. He pointed out the ongoing development projects in Gujar Khan as evidence of the PPP’s welfare initiatives during its tenure in government.

The Speaker elaborated on the party’s strengthening bonds with the poor and middle-class segments of society, which have contributed to its power. He mentioned the developmental goals for Gujar Khan, which include infrastructural enhancements, educational advancements, and the establishment of the Punjab University Pothohar Campus as a cornerstone for regional education.

With admissions now open and the deadline extended to December 31, Ashraf encouraged local and surrounding district youth to partake in the educational opportunities provided by the Punjab University Pothohar Campus. He stressed that the realization of this educational mission would bolster the region’s academic profile.

Additionally, the Speaker assured the completion of development projects related to electricity, gas, and other essential services in Gujar Khan, reiterating the PPP’s resolve to fulfill its promises and address the issues of local constituents directly.
