Speaker Lauds Armed Forces for Triumph in Ma’raka-e-Haq


Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation on its Independence Day, celebrating Pakistan’s success in Ma’raka-e-Haq (“The Battle of Truth”) against Indian aggression. He emphasized that this victory has amplified the joy of the nation’s freedom celebrations and highlighted the shared responsibility of protecting this freedom.



The Speaker paid homage to the forefathers’ sacrifices and the founders’ tireless efforts in creating Pakistan. He noted the immense sacrifices made by the Muslims of the subcontinent, including their homes and lives, to secure an independent homeland. These sacrifices, he said, serve as a guiding light for the nation.



Sardar Ayaz Sadiq reiterated the importance of unity in the face of aggression, urging citizens to stand firm and united. He called for collective efforts towards the country’s progress and prosperity, emphasizing the need to work together beyond differences.



Paying tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces, he recalled the decisive victory during Ma’raka-e-Haq from May 6 to May 10, 2025, under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. The Speaker described it as a golden chapter in the nation’s history, showcasing military skill and national unity.



He commended the Pakistani people’s unity and courage, noting their steadfastness alongside the armed forces. He paid homage to the martyrs who gave their lives for the country, underscoring their sacrifice as essential to the nation’s freedom.



The Speaker urged Parliament to address national challenges through effective legislation, calling for unity among parliamentarians. He praised the solidarity shown during Operation Bunyan al-Marsous as commendable.



Expressing support for the people of Palestine and Kashmir, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq affirmed Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to their struggle for self-determination. He stressed the importance of freedom as a priceless gift and urged the youth to contribute to the nation’s progress.



In his message, Sadiq highlighted that gratitude for freedom is a duty, and its protection a sacred trust for all citizens.
