Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, met with the Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, to express condolences following the death of Shah’s mother. The meeting took place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Islamabad.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sadiq conveyed his sorrow over the minister’s loss, emphasizing the significant impact of a mother’s death. He acknowledged the essential role of a mother in providing love, care, and guidance, and noted that her absence creates an irreplaceable void for the family. The Speaker extended his shared grief with Syed Imran Ahmed Shah and his family during this challenging time.
