Islamabad, October 28, 2022 (PPI-OT): A webinar was organized by Kashmir Media Service and Friends of Kashmir International to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Mohammad Nafees Zakariya, former Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, in his address said that the unprecedented sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste.
Ghazala Habib, Chairperson, Friends of Kashmir International, addressing the webinar said that India had been committing human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir since long but the people of Kashmir would continue their freedom struggle till complete success. Dr Zafar Bangash, Director of the Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought, in his address highlighted the Indian brutalities in IIOJK and urged the UN and international human rights organizations to take notice of the Indian brutalities in IIOJK.
Ali Muhammad Khan, former minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, addressing the webinar said that India could no enslave the people of Kashmir for long and one day they would get freedom from Indian yoke. Gurcharan Singh, Sikh leader, on the occasion said the unprecedented sacrifices of the Kashmiri people would definitely bring fruit and the oppressed people would get rid of Indian state terrorism.
Shafqat Mahmood, former minister, said the people of Kashmir have been fighting for their right to self-determination and would definitely succeed in their struggle. Zaffar Qureshi, President of Kashmir Campaign Global, urged the world community to help resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute so that permanent peace could be established in the region. Turgay Evren, Turkish Writer and music composer, in his speech raised the rights violations by Indian troops in IIOJK and urged the world community to help the oppressed Kashmiri people in securing their right to self-determination.
Abdul Hameed Lone, Vice Chairman, Friends of Kashmir International, on the occasion said that the people of Kashmir would continue their freedom movement till it reached its logical conclusion. Mohammed Afzal Khan, British MP, and Ali Raza Syed, Chairman Kashmir Council Europe, in their addresses highlighted the Indian atrocities in IIOJK. They said that human rights violations by Indian troops in the occupied territory would be raised at all forums.
