Solangi Urges Enhanced Social Media Collaboration Among Info Ministry’s Allied Departments

Islamabad, In a move to bolster Pakistan’s online presence and narrative, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, has called for heightened synergies and integration among the allied departments of the Information Ministry, particularly in the domain of social media.

According to a news release by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this stance was conveyed during a meeting chaired by Solangi at the Pak-China center in Islamabad today. Focusing on the unification of social media accounts across distinct departments of the Information Ministry, the Minister emphasized that key players like Radio Pakistan, PTV, and the Associated Press of Pakistan, stand to gain significantly from a collaborative approach in their digital outreach endeavors.

Highlighting the potential benefits, Solangi stressed that an expanded and cohesive government presence on social platforms can effectively amplify Pakistan’s narrative, ensuring it resonates positively both at home and abroad.

The deliberations were attended by prominent figures including Secretary Information Zahoor Ahmed, Director General Radio Pakistan Tahir Hassan, and other senior officials from the Ministry and its subsidiary departments.
